Recently I posted a tutorial by director/editor David Battistella on the Red workflow in FCP X. In it he uses Red footage he shot of an Italian sport called Calcio Storico Fiorentino. In what looks to be a "sport" in a dystopian Sci Fi movie, this real life chaos is a combination of Greco Roman wrestling, rugby, boxing, and soccer.

Apple restores FCP/FCS updates to support pages.

In what seems to be a move to counter the bad press surrounding the release of FCP X, Apple has restored updates to past versiuons of Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Studio. The updates run through FCS2 but do not include FCS3. FCP and FCS were removed form the Apple store when FCP X was released. At this time they can only be bought from third party vendors.
